Welcome to Behind the Garden Gate! This little blog will be all things flower farmer florist related. My name is Becca. I founded Green Girls’ Garden, a flower farmer florist LLC, where my sister, our Aunt Pamela and I can partner together and grow, harvest and create to our hearts content. We love to focus on local, seasonal, unique blooms and ingredients. We grow almost everything we use. Anything else is foraged or purchased from other local flower farmers. This allows us to create fragrant, fresh and truly unique arrangements.

We are very passionate about growing. We’re always learning, sharing and experimenting. As much as possible we use organic and natural methods. On this blog site we will share all our tips and tricks, as well as failures, because let’s face it, sometimes those are the most memorable lessons.
